چکیده
Method Total of fifty-five formalin-fixed adult human cadaveric hearts studied. Following measurements were noted: a.) length of coronary sinus, b). its relation to left coronary artery, mitral valve annulus and left atrium, c.) number of atrial and ventricular tributaries, d.) distance and the opening angles of major tributaries from the coronary ostium, e.) length and width of coronary ostium, f.) Attachment of Thebesian valve.

متن کاملAnatomic Variations of Brachial Plexus: A Cadaveric Study
Introduction: The brachial plexus is responsible for the innervation to the upper limb and some parts of the thorax. Variations in the branching of the brachial plexus are common and have been reported in 65.3% of the population. The variations (Atypical communication) of brachial plexus have significant clinical and surgical importance. Methods: In this study 10 upper limbs which belonged...

متن کاملVariations and Anomalies of Coronary Artery System in Cadaveric Human Hearts
Background: Knowledge of the normal and variant anatomy and anomalies of coronary circulation is an increasingly vital component in the management of congenital and acquired heart disease. Anatomical variations in relation to coronary artery and its branches will help cardiac surgeons for refining imaging techniques and coronary artery bypass grafting. The current study is aimed at understandin...
متن کاملA Cadaveric Review of the Variations in Anatomy in the Junction between the Great Cerebral Vein and the Straight Sinus
The human brain is an area that anatomists have been exploring for centuries, and one which has been a mystery to science for much of this time. Even today the human brain is not fully understood in its entirety. Since the early works of Paul Broca in the mid eighteenth century, cited in Finger [1] and Clark [2], research has been constantly evolving to explore the human brain and the many intr...
